AMD releases Catalyst 13.11 beta driver for Linux

The releases are popping out of AMD in hot/heavy fashion. Just about a week after the proprietary AMD Catalyst 13.10 beta video driver for Linux was released, today AMD's Web site is pushing the 13.11 beta.

Notable in this release is the addition of these GPUs:

AMD Radeon™ R9 280X
AMD Radeon™ R9 270X
AMD Radeon™ R7 260X
AMD Radeon™ R7 250
AMD Radeon™ R7 240

No mention in any of the betas since 13.6 of fixing suspend/resume for the AMD Radeon HD 7400G Series, under which my 7420G chip falls.

I'm not sure what code RPM Fusion shipped today, but I did have an akmod-catalyst update for the 3.11.3 kernel. I installed, verified that the driver worked, then performed my customary suspend/resume test, which failed again, as it has done for all releases since the 13.6 beta.

Baby steps, I guess.
